Product: Laprock Wired Mats are lightly, bonded Rockwool Mats faced on one sided with galvanized wire-mesh for thermal insulation.
Standards: Laprock Wired Mats conform to BS-3958 Part-3 and IS-8183.

Facings: Laprock
wired mats can be supplied faced with G.I. / S.S. wire-mesh of varying
specifications. Other facings can be supplied to specific order.
Moisture Absorption: Moisture condensing from air within rockwool is less than 0.02% by volume at 95% relative humidity, which is negligible.
Fire Resistance: Laprock
wired mats are non-combustible when tested as per IS-3144 or BS-476
Part-4. They do not get ignited, do not allow flames to spread and do
not emit heat or smoke.
Chemicals: Laprock
wired mats are chemically inert and are non-corrosive with PH value
between 7.5-8.5. The chloride content is negligible and it does not
support corrosion.
Thermal Conductivity: K-value when tested has been found to be well below the figures given in BS-3958 and IS-8183.
Service Temperature: Range (minus) 200oC to 750oC.

pipes, vessels, boilers, E.S.P.s. irregular surface, valves and pipe
fittings in thermal power plants, cement plants, refineries,
chemical/petro-chemical and fertilizer plants, ferrous and non-ferrous
industries, sugar mills, agro-solvent plants, paper plants and food
processing industries.

- Stress Relieving of welds on vessels and piping.
- Thermal insulation of heat traced piping.
- Insulation of steam piping, air/gas ducts.
